Spark Agency Group has officially launched, becoming Canada’s first Indigenous-owned and led full-service marketing and communications agency. Built to amplify Indigenous voices and center Indigenous worldviews, Spark creates bold, impactful campaigns that spark change for good. By blending lived experience with creative expertise, the agency develops campaigns that break down barriers and elevate representation for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.
The agency brings together the talent and experience of Jelly Digital Marketing & PR, Symmetry Public Relations, and Elizabeth Bunney Communications, backed by Maskwa Investments Inc., led by tech and investment leader Joshua Nilson. Spark’s leadership includes representation from all three Indigenous groups in Canada: First Nations, Métis, and Inuit.
“Our approach to our work is grounded in the intersectionality of our lived experiences,” says CEO and co-founder Elizabeth Bunney. “As a Cree-Métis person with Indigenous and settler ancestry, I see what I do as an extension of my ancestors’ legacy, I’m bridging both of my worlds to create understanding, empathy and change.”
